Description

This 8m Type 2 to Type 1 cable will allow you to use your Japanese imported vehicle at public and home charge stations that have a Type 2 socket.
It converts the Type 2 socket in to Type 1 allowing charging at up to 16amps.

Type 2 sockets are the New Zealand standard but all imported cars from Japan still use Type 1 such as Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi Outlander, Prius, Eclipse, ENV200.

The car charging cable is flexible even in the low temperatures. The 16A rating allows you to charge at around 20km of charge per hour.
